Public Matter(s): Design and Democracy - Toolkit

Book your self-guided group visit

Would you rather guide your class through our temporary exhibition yourself? With our digital toolkit, you become the guide. It is not just another worksheet, but a collection of hands-on activities that encourage students to think critically.

Challenge your students to explore the exhibition with fresh eyes and discuss what they discover. Why do polling booths look the way they do? How can a single poster spark an entire revolution?

By observing, questioning and debating, students uncover the hidden stories behind the design of everyday objects. Theydiscover that design does more than shape the world around us. It has the power to change it. The toolkit moves them frompassive observers to active participants, showing them that they too have the creativity to help shape the world they live in.
