Are you sitting on a chair, or on a brilliant idea? Every chair in our museum reveals a story of technology, materials and entrepreneurship. 

During this guided tour, your students discover the technical innovations that have shaped the history of design, from the first one-piece plastic chair to the latest 3D-printed designs. Theylearn to look at objects through the eyes of a designer. How do you connect materials without breaking them? How does technology shape the furniture around us? And what might thechair of the future look like? 

The highlight of the visit is not only looking, but also touching and trying out several iconic chairs. Students discover how designers work like inventors, finding creative solutions that make our world a little more beautiful and comfortable every day. A hands-on experience that brings the history of design to life. 

This guided tour is recommended for students in the first year of secondary education (A stream) and the second and third years of the double finality and academic finality pathways.
