Volunteers
Behind the scenes at Design Museum Gent, there’s always something happening, buzzing with energy and creativity. And at the heart of it all? Our volunteers! With their enthusiasm, unique stories and helping hands, they truly bring the museum to life. Want to be part of it?
What can you do?
- Reception / Visitor Assistant
As a Visitor Host, you are a key point of contact for visitors to the museum. You welcome guests, help them find their way around with maps and practical information, and contribute to a warm and welcoming museum experience. Whether they’re design enthusiasts, casual visitors or international guests, you make a difference by helping everyone feel at ease and find their way around. A good command of Dutch and/or English is therefore an asset.
What do we offer?
- Fresh coffee and great colleagues
- Insurance and a fixed volunteer allowance (€44 for a full day, €20 for a half day)
