These Terms and Conditions apply between AGB Kunsten en Erfgoed– Design Museum Gent and the user of the reservation system. By placing an order, the user confirms that they have read and understood these Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy and agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. 

AGB Kunsten en Erfgoed– Design Museum Gent reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions without prior notice. Any amendments shall take effect immediately upon publication. 

All prices are stated in euros. The price applicable to the purchase of products shall be the price in force at the time the order is placed. The reduced group rate applies to purchases of 15 tickets or more and cannot be combined with any other individual discount. Ordered items must be paid for immediately. Accepted methods of payment include, but are not limited to, Bancontact, Maestro, Mastercard and Visa. Users holding a VAT number or company registration number may, in addition to immediate payment, opt to pay upon receipt of an invoice. 

Following payment, the user will receive an electronic ticket (e-ticket) containing a unique QR code at the email address provided. The e-ticket is valid only for the period specified on the ticket and may be used once only. Tickets are issued exclusively in electronic format. AGB Kunsten en Erfgoed shall not be liable for the loss or theft of e-tickets. E-tickets may be verified on the day of the visit. Staff of AGB Kunsten en Erfgoedreserve the right to request a valid official proof of identity where tickets have been purchased at a reduced rate. Where a reservation has been made with payment to be made at the reception desk, the user will receive a reservation confirmation by email. On the day of the visit, the user must present this confirmation at the reception desk, where the amount due shall be paid using one of the payment methods available on site. 

The user undertakes to provide accurate information required to complete the order. The person placing the order shall be regarded as the sole purchaser and shall remain solely responsible for payment, even where the tickets are intended for a third party. AGB Kunsten en Erfgoed reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order where there is evidence of, or reasonable grounds to suspect, fraud and/or outstanding payments. 

A guide may be requested up to 10 working days before the scheduled date of the visit. The maximum number of participants per guide is limited and may vary depending on the guided tour and the venue. The museum reserves the right to refuse admission to a group where the maximum permitted number of participants has been exceeded. 

Reservations may be requested online. Users requiring assistance may contact Museum Bookings Ghent on +32 (0)9 210 10 75, Monday to Friday, between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm. 

Once the request has been confirmed by Museum Bookings Ghent, the user will receive a reservation confirmation by email. The reservation shall then become binding. 

An e-ticket or reservation cannot be amended, exchanged or cancelled by the user. No discounts shall be granted retrospectively after the e-tickets have been issued. 

A guide may be cancelled free of charge up to 10 working days before the scheduled visit. If the cancellation is made within 10 working days of the guided tour, the full guide fee shall be charged. 

If, due to force majeure, the museum is unable to accommodate the visit at the scheduled date and time, it shall first seek to offer a suitable alternative date and time for the visit. 

The internal security service of AGB Kunsten en Erfgoed, Botermarkt 1, 9000 Ghent (Enterprise No. 0537.520.055), is insured against bodily injury and material damage arising from the performance of its private security activities. Any injured party may submit a claim directly to Ethias, Kortrijksesteenweg 1052A, 9051 Ghent. The insurance policy number is 45.312.218.
