Table Rouge de Belges - Studio DO
Table Rouge Belge is a six-metre-long table made up of twenty marble slabs sourced from Belgian homes. Each fragment of marble once served as a fireplace surround, tabletop or wall finish, carrying with it a piece of domestic history.
For the legs, the studio combines Belgian bluestone, cobblestones and reclaimed architectural elements. In doing so, it creates a dialogue between home and street, between the private and the public.
The table is both a still life that reveals the life cycle of stone and a social place that invites people to come together, share stories and create new memories.

More about the designers
Studio DO is an Antwerp-based stone workshop founded by Dana Seachuga and Octave Vandeweghe. Driven by a deep appreciation for craftsmanship and geology, the studio explores the cultural and symbolic meaning of stone and gemstones. Through minimal, precise interventions, they bring out the hidden beauty of found natural stone. Function emerges from the material itself, resulting in thoughtful objects that connect history, interiors and people.
