Joe Sterck
For the reopening of Design Museum Gent, Joe Sterck set to work with a very special material: the circular bricks made from Ghent demolition waste for our new façade (Gent Waste Brick for DING). Using the leftover bricks, he is now creating temporary seating, lighting and a bar. In doing so, he playfully explores the boundary between design and architecture. A cheerful and welcoming invitation to see the museum in a whole new light.
