Workshop

Bread as material - Studio CoPain

Studio CoPain organises a creative food workshop in which dough becomes a material for designing and making. From sourdough workshops to projects that give stale bread a new life, participants shape dough using special tools to create edible constructions and bread sculptures. Food becomes a playful medium for imagination, experimentation and shared experiences.

More about the designer

Studio CoPain is a collective of three French designers who blur the boundaries between art, design and food. They approach bread not simply as an everyday staple, but as a fully fledged creative material. With their project Croûte que Croûte, they transform traditional decorative dough (pâte morte) into unique interior and functional objects such as chairs, vases and lamps.

Through their multidisciplinary practice, which includes culinary design, scenography, workshops and product design, they celebrate the craft of baking and the poetry of making. At Studio CoPain, bread becomes an inviting symbol of tradition, care, craftsmanship and connection.
