We Are The Next Generation

WE ARE THE NEXT GENERATION is an initiative by Designregio Kortrijk that has been showcasing the finest fresh Belgian design talent since 2014. During Design Fest Gent, BROEI transforms into a hub where visitors can explore the graduation projects of a new generation of designers.

Through an open call, students from fields such as product design, architecture, graphic design, and game design shared their vision of the future. A professional jury selected around thirty projects based on criteria like innovation, sustainability, and societal impact.

Following its initial showcase at Design Fest Gent, the exhibition travels to Kortrijk for the WONDER Creativity Festival. In Ghent, WE ARE THE NEXT GENERATION stands out as one of the highlight features of Design Fest Gent.
