Brunch

Variations in Bread - Studio CoPain & Ghent bakers

Take a seat at a special brunch where design, craftsmanship and gastronomy come together. For the reopening of Design Museum Gent, Studio CoPain has created a unique brunch setting featuring an edible centrepiece.

For this brunch, Studio CoPain is collaborating with several Ghent bakers: Bakker Klaas, Compaan, Himschoot, Molen, Bloch, Baklavaland and MyTannour.

The brunch will be served on the Table Rouge Belge by Studio DO, a six-metre-long table made from reclaimed Belgian marble, designed as a place for meeting and shared experiences.

During the brunch, you can enjoy one hot drink or juice, along with an extensive buffet of fresh bread, pastries, butter, spreads and other delicious brunch dishes.

Reservation is not possible, so pull up a chair and join us! A maximum of 300 people can take part.

More about the designer

Studio CoPain organises a creative food workshop in which dough becomes a material for designing and making. From sourdough workshops to projects that give stale bread a new life, participants shape dough using special tools to create edible constructions and bread sculptures.

Food becomes a playful medium for imagination, experimentation and shared experiences.
