Endless Exhibition
What if an exhibition is never packed away, but stays forever? With Endless Exhibition, designer and curator Prem Krishnamurthy shakes up the art world. In a fast-paced world, he proposes a radical idea: what if every exhibition were permanent?
Through texts, images, conversations, and contracts, Krishnamurthy raises sharp questions about space, time, and material goods. He views artwork as never truly 'finished', but constantly growing and evolving. Kunsthal Gent provides full room for this vision, building new ideas layer by layer.

More about the organisation
Kunsthal Ghent is an experimental hub for the presentation and development of contemporary art. Since 2018, it has been based in a monumental fourteenth-century Carmelite monastery in the centre of Ghent.
At weekends, Kunsthal Ghent functions as an exhibition space. On weekdays, it serves as a workplace for artists and arts organisations, while also hosting public activities ranging from talks and workshops to screenings and performances. Emerging and established artists, both local and international, work and present here through exhibitions or by developing their artistic practice.
