Democracy Workout

A strong democracy needs active citizens. Come train your democratic muscles with us and take part in the Democracy Workout: an interactive fitness trail throughout the exhibition and at various locations across the city.

Especially for the Grand Reopening, we are placing one stop at the Gravensteen: a nine-metre-high inflatable statue, Perseverance (Goddess of Democracy), will be on display there. Or at least, it will be when it's inflated... The moment we stop working together actively and no air is pumped in, the goddess collapses. Just like our democracy.
