Collective Embroidery with Klaas Rommelaere

Take a seat at the table and become part of an extraordinary collective artwork! Artist Klaas Rommelaere invites you to contribute to his latest installation, inspired by his Palimpsest project for Z33.

During this drop-in workshop, you’ll learn the iconic cross-stitch. Together, we are working on the ‘Ossenkop’ (Ox Head), a design reflecting the identity, history, and culture of Hasselt. Choose your shape, pick up needle and thread, and leave your creative mark. Every piece will be unique!

The combined results of everyone’s efforts will be on display at Design Museum Gent. Pull up a chair, meet fellow makers, and embroider a piece that will remain on view until the end of April!
