How to get to Design Museum Gent
Design Museum Gent is located in the historic city centre of Ghent. The museum is easy to reach by public transport and is within walking distance of the Graslei and the Castle of the Counts.

By bike
Cycling is the easiest way to visit us. Park your bike free of charge in the secure bicycle parking under St Michael's Bridge. From there, it is just a five-minute walk to the museum.
By car
Please note: Design Museum Gent is located in Ghent's Low Emission Zone (LEZ) and in a car-free area.
- Nearest car parks
Park at Parking Ramen or Parking Sint-Michiels. Both car parks are within walking distance of the museum.
- P+R (Park and Ride)
Park outside the city centre and continue your journey by tram or bus to Korenmarkt. This is the easiest way to avoid both traffic and the Low Emission Zone.
- Accessible parking
Accessible parking spaces are available at Poel, approximately 200 metres from the museum. Please remember to display your parking permit. More information is available here

By public transport (train, tram, bus)
- From Gent-Sint-Pieters railway station
Take tram T1, T3 or T4 to Korenmarkt. From there, it is a five-minute walk to the museum.
- By tram
You can also get off at Oude Houtlei (T1/T3), Castle of the Counts (T2) or Brugsepoort (T4).
- By bus
Bus routes 10, 11 and 12 also stop at Korenmarkt.
By coach (groups and coaches)
The museum is located in a car-free area. If you are visiting Ghent with a group, coaches can park at Parking Gent-Dampoort or Parking Yachtdreef. Fromthere, continue to the museum on foot or by public transport.
