Who do I become in the museum? - LARF!
In August, twelve young people aged 14 to 18 spent a week at the museum. Together with theatre maker Renée Leerman and Ghent youth theatre house LARF!, they drew inspiration from the renewed building and the collection. Through experimenting and observing together, they co-created a unique performance for our opening weekend. Expect a fresh perspective on the space around us, full of wonder and young talent.

More about the makers
LARF! is an arts organisation that connects children and young people with professional artists. Through theatre, music, podcasts and slam poetry, young people discover their own creative voice. Whether through weekly workshops, school projects or tailor-made programmes, LARF! provides the tools to develop creative authorship and an open view of the world.
Renée Leerman is a theatre maker with a great love for public space. Since completing her master's degree at KASK DRAMA, she has preferred to look around her with curiosity rather than only looking inward. In her projects with young people, she shares this way of observing to build brand-new stories together.
