PiP & Ambroos De Schepper

Pepijn Gyssels (PiP) and Ambroos De Schepper got to know each other well as housemates when Pepijn moved to Brussels in 2021. As they continued to follow each other's musical approach and interests, the idea of working together emerged quite naturally. 

One day, when Ambroos stopped by Pepijn's place to pick up some moving boxes, they decided to hook up some equipment and jam for fun. That chance recording session left them wanting more. Between May 2023 and November 2024, they regularly met in the studio to experiment with improvisation, field recordings and sound textures. 

The result of those eighteen months of experimentation is their joint EP Sans Loup, released on PiP's own platform ZitStill. The project symbolises their growing friendship and brings together the best of both worlds: Ambroos's acoustic, organic approach and PiP's electronic, attentive sound world.
