Specially for the little ones!
Our youngest visitors are more than welcome here too. While you admire the collection, there is plenty for them to discover as well.
At three spots in the museum along the family trail Hallo, Designer!, you will find specially designed play elements by Joanna Reuse. Here, the littlest ones can discover shapes, colours, and materials at their own pace using soft and inviting materials. This turns the museum into a grand journey of discovery for everyone!

During school holidays, we open our doors every day from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Even on Wednesdays, you are very welcome for an extra dose of culture and enjoyment. See you soon!
Of course! Our toilets include a changing table where you can comfortably change or feed your baby.
Did you know we are also a recognised BabySpot in Ghent? This means we also welcome non-visitors who need a quiet moment to care for their little one.
Yes! All our galleries are buggy-friendly, so feel free to bring your little one along. You can easily reach every floor using the lift.
Absolutely, you don’t need to worry about your buggy or walker. We’ve provided a dedicated space for them. Our colleagues at the front desk will be happy to assist you as soon as you arrive.
We prefer to keep the exhibition rooms completely snack-free! That way, all those special design objects stay clean and crumb-free. You are very welcome to picnic in the courtyard or order something in the museum café.
